Junkosha’s Innovator of the Year Awards shortlist to be announced in December

We launched our Technology Innovator of the Year Award in March this year, as part of our commitment to enabling technology innovators worldwide by highlighting their achievements and contributions to society. All through this year Junkosha has been on a mission, searching for researchers and individuals working actively to develop innovative products used in the delivery of interventional medical procedures or Microwave and MilimetreWave technologies.

The judges have been delighted by the high level of entries in this year’s awards. To date, all entrants have come from key institutions as well as incubators, accelerators, universities and other institutions supporting start-up companies from countries across the globe. Joe Rowan, President and CEO of USA and Europe for Junkosha: “It has been an exciting few weeks reviewing all the entries and it has been encouraging to see the efforts made in extending the frontiers of technologies across interventional device and microwave interconnect sectors”.

We will be announcing the shortlist in early December, following which we will be in touch with those entrants that have made it with the next steps. The overall winner will be announced at an online ceremony in March 2022.
