In an ultra-high vacuum environment, transmission lines encompass not only cables but also Flexible Printed Circuits (FPCs). Ordinary FPCs use a polyimide substrate that absorbs moisture, resulting in longer evacuation times from normal to ultrahigh-vacuum environments. However, Junkosha employs a fluoropolymer base material with minimal moisture absorption. By integrating the cleanliness concept of super low outgassing cables (SLO) with thin-wire technology (up to AWG50), derived from medical probe cables and other products, we have developed a flat cable that matches the flexibility and space-saving attributes of FPCs. Our FPC Alternative SLO Cables offer the same flexibility and space-saving characteristics, despite being flat cables.
We customize cables to match the shape and number of cores required for the FPC connector pitch. Additionally, we offer shielded cables optimized for signal transmission, including twisted pair shielded cables ideal for digital transmission.
Features
- Low outgassing: the amount of outgassing is extremely small in ultra-high vacuum environment
- Flexibility: By using conductors thinner than human hair, it possesses high flexibility comparable to FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit)
- Signal Transmission: Shielding and support for twisted pair are possible according to your requirements
- Suitable for long lengths
Use
- EUV exposure equipment, SEM, mask inspection equipment, mask drawing equipment in semiconductor manufacturing
- Satellites and other space equipment
